CSC 275 - Practical Cybersecurity

Information technologies are rapidly changing and evolving.  Organizations of all sizes and in all industries attempt to capitalize on that change to drive competitive advantage.  In so doing, those same organizations increase their exposure to a likewise-evolving security threat landscape.  This course is intended to introduce students to a broad range of cybersecurity concepts and controls relevant today.  Students will study and practice these concepts and controls across the information technology domains of infrastructure, applications, operations, and users.  Through this course, students will gain valuable knowledge and insights surrounding cybersecurity, its importance in the modern digital world, and various techniques to justify and apply it in today’s organizations.
