ATH 450 - Assessment and Evaluation I 2 Hour(s) This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills for clinical and on-the- field musculoskeletal assessment and evaluation of the upper and lower extremities for physically active people. General topics for the course will include patient care, interviewing and history taking, determining subjective and objective findings, and applying assessment and evaluation skills for the upper and lower extremities. Specific injuries and conditions specific to each extremity will be discussed as well as emergency, management, referral and return to participation measures for the physically active.
Prerequisite(s): Good standing in the Athletic Training program
