BHP 540 - Advanced Biopsychology

This course will examine the biological/neurological substrates of the brain and behavior. The course will lay the fundamental groundwork in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and psychopharmacology crucial to understanding the role hormones, environmental factors, and psychotropic medications play as they influence the nervous system and behavior. Applications to emotion, motivation, learning, memory, and psychiatric disorders will be discussed alongside current literature.
