BHP 660 - Adulthood and Death

This course examines changes in human development that occur from age 18+ and death and dying from a biopsychosocial-spiritual perspective. Primary, secondary, and tertiary aging will be compared with physiology, behavior, cognition, identity, and other aspects of personhood. Key components include biological and cultural definitions of adulthood, aging, death, the dying process, and bereavement with an emphasis on cross-cultural literacy.
