NRS 641 - Nursing Informatics

This course is an exploration of the health care professional’s role as knowledge worker in the creation, collection, evaluation of data and information for the purpose of improved patient care. The student will learn and practice skills of analysis and identify areas of needed research. Legal, ethical and trends in the use and application of health care technologies will be explored.
