BUS 635 - Operations and Supply Chain Management

This course explores the strategic and operational aspects of managing the flow of goods and services from raw materials to the end consumer. It integrates key concepts from operations management and supply chain management to provide a comprehensive understanding of how organizations can achieve their goals through efficient and effective resource utilization. Topics covered include productivity measures, operations strategy, quality management and control, lean operations, process selection and improvement, demand forecasting, capacity planning, inventory management, and waiting line management. Learners will develop the analytical and decision-making skills necessary to navigate the complexities of modern supply chains and contribute to organizational success.
