NRS 502 - Human Pathophysiology for Nurses 3 Hour(s)
This course is a hybrid course for the MSN-DE student. The course is focused on the alterations in cell, tissue and system mechanisms that manifest as health problems throughout the life span and prevent or limit individuals from making adaptive responses. Although the focus of the course is on the systemic pathophysiology of the individual, the response of the family is acknowledged as inseparable from the health state of a family member. This course also prepares the MSN-DE student to apply knowledge from nursing science and other sciences to build an understanding of human experience and nursing practice.
FA Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into MSN-DE Program
