NRS 620 - Advanced Pharmacology for Nurses

This course is designed to prepare MSNs to assess, diagnose, and manage (including the prescription of pharmacologic agents) a patient’s common health problems in a safe, high quality, cost-effective manner. Basic pharmacologic principles and the pharmacologic actions of the major drug classes will be discussed in relation to physiologic systems, with emphasis on the application of these agents.
