ATH 5424 - Patient-Centered Care in Athletic Training

This course explores the principles and practices of patient-cenered care in the field of athletic training, with specific focus on behavioral health, sports pyschology, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Students will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to provide holistic and culturally competent care to athletes and individuals involved in physical activity. Students will also gain foundational knowledge in public health, epidemiology, healthcare delivery, and payor systems.
