ANB 244 - General Skills in Canine Training and Management 4 Hour(s) This course will build off the foundation skills acquired in ANB 250/250L as students apply learning principles, protocols, and procedures to train dogs for the duration of the semester. Students do not need to foster or supply their own dog for this course.
Evidence-based principles of assessing a dog’s temperament and behavior and developing and implementing training and behavior modification plans will be reinforced through hands on experience and analysis of case studies.

Prerequisite(s): ANB 101 and ANB 250 , or permission from the instructor
Recommended courses: completed or concurrently enrolled in ANB 240 , PSY 314 , or PSY 333 .
