OTH 661 - Interventions in Physical Dysfunction II

This course continues with occupational therapy (OT) adult theories, frames of reference, and intervention strategies related to physical dysfunction with a focus on neurological, physiological, and sensorimotor disorders of the body. The emphasis of this course includes occupational performance areas and approaches to interventions relating to therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular strategies, neurosensory strategies, adaptive equipment, mobility equipment, and assistive technology. Intervention strategies examined will demonstrate occupation and an evidence-based, client-centered approach across the continuum.
