The Anatomy and Physiology courses serve several disciplines including pre-athletic training, biology, exercise science, nursing, physical and health education teacher education, pre-physical therapy, public health, and pre-occupational therapy.The curriculum is designed to provide students an introductory and/or advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The courses provide a foundation for those who wish to pursue graduate studies or professional health careers.
Learning Outcomes
Students will:
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the human body that can be applied in future coursework and clinical practice
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Apply critical thinking and problem solving skills to clinical scenarios
- Demonstrate professional behaviors required by health professionals
