The Anatomy and Physiology courses serve several disciplines including pre-athletic training, biology, exercise science, nursing, physical and health education teacher education, pre-physical therapy, public health, and pre-occupational therapy.The curriculum is designed to provide students an introductory and/or advanced knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The courses provide a foundation for those who wish to pursue graduate studies or professional health careers.

Learning Outcomes

Students will:

  1. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the human body that can be applied in future coursework and clinical practice
  2. Demonstrate effective communication skills
  3. Apply critical thinking and problem solving skills to clinical scenarios
  4. Demonstrate professional behaviors required by health professionals
