Biochemistry Major - American Chemistry Society Approved Emphasis

American Chemistry Society Approved Emphasis is designed to prepare students for graduate school in chemistry or biochemistry, medical school, or employment in biomedical sciences.

Upon completion of this emphasis, students will:

Develop an advanced understanding in multiple fields of chemistry and biological chemistry.
Develop an independent research project, acquire and analyze data, and present the results at an off-campus professional meeting.
