Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership and Organizational Development

Program Description

The PhD in Leadership and Organizational Development is a 54 credit program that leads to a doctoral degree upon completion of courses and successful defense of a dissertation based on original research. The PhD in Leadership and Organizational Development is a practitioner focused degree that maintains the rigor of a doctoral degree while preparing leaders for the challenges of the 21st century world of work.

If students so desire, they can complete three additional courses that lead to licensure as a District Administrator/Superintendent in the state of Wisconsin as approved by the Department of Public Instruction.  Given the large number of retiring superintendents and the ongoing need for leaders both in the private and public sector, the PhD in Leadership and Organizational Development fills a market need.
