Nurse Educator Certificate

This certificate is for nursing professionals with graduate degrees who wish to continue their professional development and provide quality education to future and current nurses.  Students will gain competencies in education theory, learner-centered teaching strategies, curriculum development, along with the assessment and evaluation of learners and programs. Additionally, students will participate in a simulation course focusing on the theory of simulated learning and debriefing along with techniques to operate a successful simulation. In a culminating experience, students will work with skilled faculty for an educational practicum.
