The Environmental Sociology minor:
A. Introduces the foundations of the Sociological Perspective and examples of the social science research methods and theoretical approaches of the scholarly discipline of Sociology;
B. Examines the use of Environmental Sociology to understand the human behavioral, cultural, and societal dimensions of environmental problems and natural resource use related to contemporary issues, responses, and ecosystem change, and;
C. Explores the application of a Sociology of Sustainability in various career fields and its relevance to professional, public policy, and applied vocational settings.
