Medical Sociology Minor - MESO.M.25

The Medical Sociology minor:

A. Introduces the foundations of the Sociological Perspective and examples of the social science research methods and theoretical approaches of the scholarly discipline of Sociology;

B. Examines the use of Medical Sociology to examine cultural and societal dimensions of health and aging related to contemporary issues and challenges such as inequality, and;

C. Explores the application of a Sociology of Health in various career fields and its relevance to professional, public policy, and applied vocational settings.
