In order to earn the emphasis at Carroll University, pre-health students must complete the four courses associated with the track. These courses will satisfy some prerequisite requirements for admission to most professional/graduate schools in that area. As these requirements vary by school, it is the student’s responsibility to be aware of specific program requirements and to consult with a pre-health advisor for guidance. Additional prerequisite course requirements may exist.

General Biology with Lab and/or Anatomy and Physiology with Lab (2-4 semesters), General Chemistry with Lab (2 semesters), Organic Chemistry with Lab (2 semesters), General Physics with Lab (1 semester), Calculus (1 semester), Statistics (1 semester), English (1-2 semesters), Communication (1 semester), Economics (1 semester) and various humanities/social sciences.
