NRS 547 - Nursing and Advanced Medical/Surgical Care Practicum 3

3 Hour(s)

This course continues and expands, in practice, the concepts of patient care introduced in the medical surgical nursing theory courses. The ON- and OFF-campus clinical experiences focus on implementing the nursing process and skills with ill individuals from diverse populations and developmental levels in a variety of medical/surgical in-patient settings. Students will also explore the role of the nurse as part of an interdisciplinary team.
