MAT 101 - Intermediate Algebra

Topics include number systems, linear equations and inequalities, introduction to functions and their graphs, systems of linear equations, polynomials, rational expressions and equations, rational exponents and radicals, and an introduction to quadratic equations and their graphs. This course is the prerequisite to MAT 104 , MAT 106 , MAT 130 , CMP 112 . Students must successfully completed this course or placed higher than a 45 on the math placement to enroll in PHY 101 and CSC 110.
