NRS 1201 - Personal and Professional Development I 1 Hour(s) This course is the beginning of a series of courses across the nursing curriculum. It serves as a forum for students to explore personal and professional development principles that apply to their role as a nursing student and future nurse. Students will self-assess their personal biases, perspectives, communication style and behaviors to uncover how these elements can influence nursing care. Students will develop foundational knowledge of medication terminology that is part of professional communication and strategies for success as a lifelong learner.
