NRS 2401 - Pathophysiology/Pharmacology B 4 Hour(s) This course combines pathophysiology and pharmacology concepts which are the foundation for the nurses’ understanding of alterations in health status and pharmacological treatment. Pathophysiology explores the manifestations of disease, risk factors for disease, and the principles of pathology underlying illness and injury. Pharmacology focuses on the basic drug classification, concepts and principles of pharmacology. The Pathophysiology/Pharmacology course holds significant importance for nursing students, providing essential understanding of disease mechanisms and medications. This knowledge plays a key role in fostering a comprehensive grasp of patient conditions and facilitating the provision of safe and efficient nursing care.
