In this class, students will be introduced to a wide range of genres crucial for work in the social sciences, which may include literature reviews, public presentations, scholarly reporting, abstracts, interview or observational notes, detailed instructions, professional correspondence, and grant proposals. Assignments will help students sharpen their writing skills and develop their professional identities.
