Students will apply the Integrative Competencies for Primary Care Professionals within the context of health promotion and wellness. Students will plan, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based health and wellness interventions in the context of individual, population, or community-centered care. Students will develop interventions based on health literacy, socio-cultural and psychosocial factors that may impact individual, population, or community needs. Students will apply appropriate professional roles and responsibilities while maintaining values and ethics that support collaborative practice and team effectiveness.
