BHP 570 - Practicum

Supervised fieldwork in a clinical setting. Efforts are made to place students in settings aligned with their professional goals. Development of intake and diagnostic skills is emphasized. An average of 1.5 hrs/week of group supervision is provided on a regular schedule by a licensed BHP program faculty member. Additionally, one hour/week of individual or triadic supervision is provided by an on-site licensed supervisor. Students are expected to log a minimum of 100 practicum hours, at least 60 of which include direct client contact.
