NRS 610 - Advanced Physical Assessment for Nursing

Using evidence-based methodologies, students will perform health histories, developmental assessments, and physical/psychosocial assessments of individuals using culturally inclusive, high level interviewing and communication techniques appropriate to advanced nursing practice. Selected laboratory techniques are included. The laboratory component of the course provides the opportunity to practice assessment techniques and interpret clinical findings. Includes simulation practice and clinical application.
