ATH 5450 - Assessment and Evaluation I

This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills for clinical and on-the-field musculoskeletal assessment and evaluation of the upper and lower extremities for physically active people.  General topics for the course will include patient care, interviewing and history taking, determining subjective and objective findings, and applying assessment and evaluation skills.  Specific injuries and conditions will be discussed as well as emergency, management, referral and return to participation measures for the physically active.
