CHE 113 - Introductory Biological Chemistry for the Health Sciences 4 Hour(s) An introductory course for students in the Carroll University Nursing ADN program. This will provide a background in general, organic, and biochemistry. The first part of the course will focus on atomic structure, bonding, molecular geometry, states of matter, and energy. After a study of chemical reactions, gas laws, and reaction rates, the latter part of the course will focus on organic and biomolecules, and how they relate to biological systems. This course does not substitute for CHE 101 or CHE 102 .
