ENG 377 - Academic Journal Editing

This class will be dedicated to editing and preparing an issue of a biannual undergraduate academic journal with a humanities subject focus. As students who take the class, you will have your names listed as editorial assistants and will do the following: select essays for inclusion in the issue, provide content-level editing advice to writers, copyedit each article, and co-write the student introduction. You will get “real world” editing experience as well as a publication credit. This course can serve as a great resume builder.
