PTH 6541 - Clinical Decision Making I 1 Hour(s)
This course emphasizes the systematic process of gathering patient data related to multi-system health conditions; critically evaluating the data; developing prognoses and diagnoses; making decisions related to effective use and progression of interventions; and analysis of outcomes for patient progression and discharge planning. Professional practice, patient/client management, and practice management expectations are integrated and organized in a manner consistent with the Guide to Physical Therapist Practice. Critical inquiry, reflection, clinical decision making, and communication skills are progressed, and evidenced-based practice is emphasized.
SU Prerequisite(s): Good standing in the Entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
