BHP 520 - Pre-Practicum: Advanced Interviewing

Practical introduction to clinical interviewing and consultation skills. Emphasis is given to communication, establishment of effective helping relationships, and the demonstration of the common factors in behavioral change in psychotherapy and consultation. Role-plays and other experiential exercises that promote skill development and self-reflection are utilized.
