EDU 261 - Introduction to Inclusive Education 4 Hour(s) Introduction to special education and teaching students with exceptional needs. This course provides an overview of legal issues, identification and assessment of students with special needs. Emphasis is placed on teaching strategies used to educate students who have diverse learning and behavioral needs. Students completing a major or minor in Educational Studies may use PSY 221 as a prerequisite to EDU 261. All students seeking licensure must complete EDU 203 as the prerequisite course.
