ANB 370 - Animal Assisted Interventions 4 Hour(s) This course provides an overview of animal-assisted interventions (AAI) and their evolution toward becoming a relevant alternative treatment modality in healthcare, mental health, education, and other areas. We will learn about evidence relating to both theory and application as they relate to incorporating the human-animal bond to enhance human well-being. In addition, ethical practices and the importance of considering the welfare of animals incorporated into this practice will be discussed.
