NRS 1211 - Personal and Professional Development II 1 Hour(s) This course is part of a series of courses across the nursing curriculum. It serves as a forum for students to explore personal and professional development principles that will apply to their role as a nursing student and future nurse. Students will self-assess their personal and professional growth, including wellness and self-advocacy, leadership and communication skills, teamwork and collaboration, cultural awareness, and ethics. This course provides a safe space to practice the development of these skills and knowledge while fostering respect, integrity, and civility in the classroom and health care setting. This course will emphasize the concept of self and peer assessment.
