ISE 4100 - Industrial Automation and Robotics 3 Hour(s) This course provides an introduction to industrial automation and robotics, exploring their applications in modern manufacturing and production environments. Students will study the principles of automated systems, robotic manipulators, sensors, actuators, and control systems. The course covers programming languages for industrial robots, integration of automation components, and the design of efficient production lines. Emphasis is placed on understanding Industry 4.0 concepts, human-robot collaboration, and the impact of automation on productivity and safety. Through hands-on projects and simulations, students will gain practical experience in designing and implementing automated solutions for real-world industrial challenges.
