Biochemistry Major - American Chemistry Society Approved Specialization - BACS

An American Chemistry Society Approved Specialization is especially suited for students planning on graduate work in biochemistry or desiring the best preparation for medical schools and employment in the biochemical sciences. Upon completion of this specialization, students will:

Develop an advanced understanding in multiple fields of chemistry and biology
Develop an independent research project, acquire and analyze data, and present the results at an off-campus professional meeting
