The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Minor has a mission of creating ceaselessly resourceful students who can visualize opportunities on how to create a better product or process that can effectively solve problems and challenges for this world. As such, students who complete this program should be able to use business skills and knowledge to:
- Recognize opportunities for change and improvement in the world
- Develop strategies on how to raise the resources necessary to facilitate change and improvement
- Build an organization with the process capability to effect the necessary change and improvement
Students who complete the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Minor are expected to transform our society through experiences such as the creating artistic endeavors that speak to people, developing products and services that improve the lives of people in our world, effecting change with policy leaders to improve society, or as founders and builders of business that improve the lives of people through employment.
