BHP 570 - Practicum

Supervised fieldwork in a clinical setting. Efforts are made to place students in settings aligned with their professional goals. The development of intake and diagnostic skills is emphasized. Weekly individual and/or group supervision provided are by a licensed mental health professional. Students are expected to log a minimum of 100 practicum hours, at least 60 of which include direct client contact. Each week, an average of one hour is spent in 1-on-1 supervision and 1.5 hours in group supervision.
