NRS 3002 - Introduction to Population Health

This course will introduce students to population health, spanning the health care delivery continuum from public health prevention to disease management of populations. Using existing public health data, students will examine population health indicators and social determinants of health. The course will also explore how population health is addressed through collaborative efforts among both traditional and non-traditional partnerships to address health equity and improved health for all.
