NRS 3101 - Professional Practice: Mental Health 3 Hour(s) The course focuses on the theoretical principles of psychiatric/mental health nursing and on practical foundations for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating within psychiatric/mental health situations to promote health. The course examines measures for identifying, supporting, and fostering the abilities of individuals, families, groups, and communities to cope and assist mentally unhealthy individuals to higher levels of function and quality of life.
