SPD 406 - Sports Marketing and Finance 4 Hour(s) This course investigates principles and processes in sports marketing and sales. The main focus will be on research and development, sport promotion, sport sponsorship, advertising, merchandising, and distribution of sporting goods. This course will also provide students with an understanding of the basic concepts that underlie financial management and an ability to apply these concepts to the analysis of financial issues within the sports industry.
