EDU 364 - Collaboration for Academic, Social and Career Development 4 Hour(s) This course is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and dispositions in future educators to effectively interact and collaborate with families, colleagues, and community agencies. Candidates will consider the perspectives of families of children with special needs and disabilities. Candidates will identify how to develop collaborative relationships with students and families. Students will gain a deeper understanding of agency systems, develop an awareness of the wide range of services provided by community agencies, and consider how families and schools can access these services. Students will understand contemporary legislation, issues, and trends pertaining to the career and vocational development of students with special needs.
