NRS 3351 - Professional Practice II: Nursing Care of the Adult and Older Adult 4 Hour(s) This course uses an evidence-based practice approach to introduce medical-surgical concepts. It builds on the foundational knowledge of nursing practice and incorporates the clinical judgement model. Students focus on the nursing care and management of adults and older adults with acute and chronic health problems, across the spheres of care. There is a continued emphasis on developing therapeutic communication and professional identity.
