MUS 323 - Diction - English and Italian

The course focuses on developing a basic understanding of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) as applied to the proficiency in foreign language pronunciation for singing. Students will learn appropriate singer’s diction for English and Italian and will demonstrate their knowledge through written examination, speaking, and singing.
